Aliwal Shoal trip – The trip is now booked for the long weekend next month: 6-9 August. We are flying up that Thursday afternoon and returning on the Monday, which means that we will be able to get in at least 6 dives over the three diving days. There is already a small group going, but if you are keen to join us, the more the merrier. Call me for more details. |

We had some great diving last weekend, although the viz was a little patchy in places. The sea was however super flat, there was no wind and it was a great day out. There is a little SE predicted for this Saturday, but we are ever hopeful the easterly on Sunday will negate this. Also note that for this Sunday only the first launch has been moved a half hour earlier due to some of the guys planning an extended DECO DIVE on various of the Smits wrecks, while the recreational divers do their thing. |

Our decision to not launch last weekend and Wednesday seemed to have paid off, as conditions were definitely not great. This weekend however things seem to be perfect, with all indications that especially Sunday will be a peach of a day. We are planning two seldomly dived reefs, so it should be great.I know it has been a bit nippy out, but bring a flask of your favourite hot drink to heat up between dives and you will be fine. See you all there. |
