Minimum age:21
Minimum certification:NAUI Heliar and Penetration Wreck Diver with proof of 300 logged dives, 30 of which are logged penetration wreck dives
Duration:16 days full time or 8 weeks part time

Equipment Included:None, however the student will have access to an oxygen analyser
Equipment required by student:Full kit (manifolded twins are required) with a 2m hose on the primary second stage, stainless steel backplate and wing, two O2 cleaned independent alternate air sources (both to be aluminium, 4-10l, each with it's own first stage, second stage and SPG), three torches, 2 line cutting devices, 2 depth and timing devices, emergency signalling device, compass, wetnotes, reel/spool, DSMB, deco regulator cover, line markers and a drysuit. No split fins allowed.
Other exclusions:All air, Nitrox, oxygen and Heliair fills
Materials included:Certificate, registration, c-card

This course provides the diver with the necessary skill and knowledge needed to gain experience and minimise the risks in penetration wreck diving at depths below 40 msw. Students are required to plan and execute deep, penetration wreck dives utilising Heliair and that require decompression on NITROX and oxygen. Special emphasis is placed on redundant equipment configurations and NTEC, penetration procedures and the risks and hazards of deep, wreck penetration diving.
The maximum depth attained will be 55 msw.
