The course provides the training and experience necessary to understand the hazards and advantages of utilising helium based mixtures for dives to a depth of 55 msw that require stage decompression whilst using NITROX and oxygen during the decompression phase.
No more than 4 students will be enrolled on the course. The NTEC will be strictly adhered to.
All dives (except the screening dive) will be deeper than 30 msw with at least two dives deeper than 40 msw and at least two deeper than 49 msw. The student’s depth rating upon successful completion of the course will be 55 msw.
