Helitrox
| Minimum age: | 21 |
| Minimum certification: | NITROX Diver and Deep Diver (or equivalent) with proof of 100 logged dives, of which 20 are NITROX dives |
| Duration: | 4 days full time or 3 weeks part time |

| Open water dives: | 4 boat dives (and 1 screening dive) |
| Equipment Included: | None, however the student will have access to an oxygen analyser |
| Equipment required by student: | Full kit (manifolded twins are recommended) with a 2m hose on the primary second stage, stainless steel backplate and wing, torch, line cutting device, computer and/or depth and timing device, compass, wetnotes, reel/spool, DSMB and drysuit. No split fins are allowed |

This course introduces students to reducing narcosis levels by utilising Helium for dives to a maximum of 46msw, whilst not exceeding their no-decompression limits (unless combined with the NAUI Decompression Techniques course).
Topics covered will include the planning and safe execution of Helitrox dives, gas requirements, oxygen toxicity and nitrogen narcosis limitations and the NAUI Technical Equipment Configuration (NTEC).
